Ammonium chloride, abbreviated as ammonium chloride, is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula NH4Cl, which refers to the ammonium salt of hydrochloric acid, mostly a by-product of the alkali industry. Nitrogen content is 24%~26%, it is white or slightly yellowish square or octahedral small crystals. There are two dosage forms of powdery and granular. Granular ammonium chloride is not easy to absorb moisture and is easy to store, while powdered ammonium chloride is mostly used The basic fertilizer for the production of compound fertilizer. It is a physiologically acidic fertilizer. It is not suitable for application on acid soil and saline soil because of its high chlorine content. It is not suitable for planting fertilizer, seedling fertilizer or foliar fertilizer, and also not suitable for chlorine-sensitive crops (such as tobacco, potato, citrus, tea, etc.) ) On application. Ammonium chloride is more effective and stable when used in paddy fields, because chlorine can not only inhibit the nitrification of paddy fields, but also facilitate the formation of rice stalk fibers, increase toughness, and reduce rice lodging and pests.

Application:

Used in dry cell, dying, tanning, electrical plating. Also used as welding and hardener in molding of Precision castings.

1) Dry cell. used as electrolyte in zinc-carbon batteries.
2) Metalwork.as a flux in preparing metals to be tin coated, galvanized or soldered. 
3) Other applications. Used to work on oil wells with clay swelling problems. Other

 uses include in hair shampoo, in the glue that bonds plywood, and in cleaning products.

 In hair shampoo, it is used as a thickening agent in ammonium-based surfactant systems, such as ammonium lauryl sulfate. Ammonium chlorides used

 in the textile and leather industry in dyeing , tanning, textile printing and to luster cotton.

Storage:

1) Store in a cool,dry and ventilated house away from moisture
2) Avoid handling or transporting together with acidic or alkaline substances
3) Prevent the material from rain and insolation
4) Load and unload carefully and protect from package damage
5) In the event of a fire,use water,soil or carbon dioxide fire extinguishing media.
