It is one of the most commonly used purgative drugs in clinic for the treatment of heat stagnation, constipation, abdominal pain and water swelling. Sennoside has the function of clearing heat and promoting stagnation, facilitating water, detoxifying and nourishing skin, promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis and causing diarrhea (refer to relevant literature)
