Description
The high pressure bag filter is a high pressure pulse bag filter dust collector that uses a pulse jet dust cleaning mechanism. It periodically releases short bursts of high-pressure compressed air into the filter bag to remove accumulated dust. This cleaning action is very efficient and can run continuously without interrupting the filtration process.
Working Principle
Circular filter bags, 4" to 6" in diameter and up to 12 feet in length, are suspended vertically inside the housing. A circular wire cage prevents the bag from collapsing as air enters from the outside. Clean air enters the clean air chamber from the top of the bag and then enters a fan.
During the cleaning process, pulses of high-pressure air are directed into the bag (in the reverse flow direction), causing the bag to expand, resulting in fabric deflection and high inertial forces that separate the dust from the bag. The dust falls into the hopper, which is then emptied with a rotating airlock.
